Project Name:
On-Call Survey for Snohomish County PUD
Jurisdition:
Snohomish County PUD #1
Services Provided:
Surveying
Location:
Various Snohomish County locations
Example Projects:
Triad Associates was an on-call surveyor for Snohomish County PUD from 1993 to
2005, completing numerous surveys for design of the County’s infrastructure
improvements. Here are descriptions for three representative projects:
Sultan Pipeline:
Using GPS surveying techniques, we established control for the aerial
mapping for a waterline extension from the m the Sultan
River
to the City of Sultan.
The project included detailed profile and cross-sections of the proposed
pipeline crossing of the Sultan
River and a boundary survey of the City of
Sultan water tank site. Triad
prepared legal descriptions and right-of-way plats for submittal to Washington
State Department of Natural Resources and provided construction staking services
for construction of a bridge across the
Sultan River.
Lake Stevens/Machias Water Main Extension:
Triad established
control for aerial mapping of the Machias waterline extension and two smaller
water line extensions in the Lake
Stevens area. We also conducted a
boundary and topographic surveys of the Machias pump station and two reservoir
sites near Granite
Falls.
Storm Lake Water Tank Site:
Triad performed topographic surveys of the proposed water tank site, pump
station and access road and a boundary survey of proposed water tank site and
pump station sites. We also prepared legal descriptions for the water tank site
and access road and established control for aerial mapping of the approximate
two-mile pipeline route between the pump station and water tank.
