Location:
Seattle, Washington
Project Description:
This $25 million,
adaptive re-use project included extensive remodeling of three existing
buildings totaling more than 200,000 SF plus four acres of parking and
landscaping. The resulting LEED-certified support facility is an efficient and
uplifting workspace for specialized police and building maintenance units.
During the design phase, Triad provided the topographic surveys for architect
firm, DKA. Turner Construction selected Triad for utility research and
construction staking for grading, interior grid lines and building columns.
Triad also monitored nearby railroad tracks to ensure alignment during the
construction phase. In addition, Exterior Research & Design asked Triad to
monitor walls that had shifted during a mid-construction earthquake.
