Project Description:
Triad
Associates recently updated the City’s vertical control network established in
1989. The primary purposes for the comprehensive survey were to change the
vertical datum from NGVD 29’ to NAVD 88’, to set new benchmarks and to replace
damaged or destroyed benchmarks. Upon completion of the project, Triad delivered
to the City a datasheet for each of the 104 bench marks established, including
monument and location description, bench mark photograph, NAD 83/91 bench mark
coordinate and NAVD 88’ elevations. The City will use the datasheets on their
website. Users can click on an interactive map and get all the corresponding
data for that location.
