Project Description:
Triad Associates is providing surveying, civil engineering,
planning and landscape architecture services for the ten-acre redevelopment
project. When complete, this former landscape materials retail yard will be a
metals recycling facility with a state-of-the-art stormwater management system
designed to protect groundwater and nearby Little Bear Creek from contaminents.
Triad surveyors prepared an ALTA Land Title Survey needed for the initial
purchase of the property and provided a topographic survey for design purposes.
The topographic survey was completed using a combination of conventional
surveying in heavily vegetated areas and 3D laser scanning in open and hard
surface areas. Combining data from two types of surveying instruments was easily
accomplished in the office.
