connect Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place high-rise complexes. The steel-and glass skybridge spans 177&#8217; across Bellevue&#8217;s NE 8th Street. A surveying and engineering challenge, the 13-foot wide skybridge had to slope and angle in order to connect the two buildings&#8217; second floors. Triad surveyors made several trips to Jesse Engineering of Tacoma, the offsite construction facility for the skybridge, checking measurements during manufacturing. When dropped into place in the middle of the night, all components fit perfectly.
