Description:</b> <br /> The projected traffic volumes at the main entrance of the newly constructed Snoqualmie Casino warranted a conventional signalized intersection along North Bend Way. Triad Associates civil engineers worked with King County to design an alternative to that plan. The site now includes a two-lane roundabout with an eastbound bypass lane. Site constraints included steep slopes on both the north and south sides of North Bend Way, as well as a stream on the north side of the road. Project design approvals and construction were completed within 18 months allowing an on-schedule opening of the new tribal casino. Our civil engineers provided grading and stormwater design. Our landscape architecture team designed the site s entry monument and plantings, coordinated traffic signage, and planned lighting, irrigation and planting.
