Project Description:
When the City of Sammamish purchased the property on the shores of Beaver Lake,
it declared that Beaver Lake Preserve would be forever protected in its natural
and open space condition. The preserve – set among wetlands, forests and
lakeshore habitat –includes a 1.2-mile hiking trail that winds through native
plants and trees. For this passive park, Triad Associates completed a
topographic survey on a portion of the park site for the design of the parking
area and restrooms. We also completed a boundary survey of the entire 50-acre
park site so the City of Sammamish could resolve encroachment issues.
