Beaver Lake Preserve
When the City of Sammamish purchased the property
on the shores of Beaver
Lake, it declared that Beaver Lake
Preserve would be forever protected in its natural and open space condition.
For this passive park, Triad Associates completed a topographic survey on a
portion of the park site for the design of the parking area and restrooms.

Magnolia Park at Issaquah Highlands
Triad’s landscape architects designed a central park for the Issaquah Highlands’
Magnolia Park neighborhood. The one-acre park is located at the apex of a
main collector road and serves as a focal point for this neighborhood.

Highlands, Highlands View and Madison Lane
Parks
Triad’s landscape architects designed three parks and trial systems for new
neighborhoods in Newcastle. The 1.5-acre Highlands Park is located at the
terminus of the main entry road at the Highlands of Newcastle. More |

Talus Parks & Trails
Triad landscape architects and planners assisted in the
design of trails and pedestrian ways throughout the 630-acre Talus master
planned community. Now nearly 200 miles of trails traverse the Issaquah Alps.
They provide pedestrian connectivity through and among the nearly 400 acres of
on-site open space, sensitive areas, and Triad-designed neighborhoods, community
parks and children’s play areas. More |

Wisteria Park at Issaquah Highlands
As part of the overall community master planning process,
Triad’s landscape architects worked with Steve Burnstead
Construction to integrate an inviting community gathering space into the
neighborhood. The result is Wisteria Park, a centrally located neighborhood
pocket park that is essentially the front yard for many residences.

Kirkland Parks,
Recreation & Open Space Plan Update
Triad Associates was selected by the City of
Kirkland to assist the Parks and Community Services Department in their 2008
update of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan. Our scope included an
inventory of the City’s park system and a review and analysis of the City’s Park
LOS methodology. More |
