It's 1975. The region's economic outlook is bleak. Choosing survival, six guys bail out of a failing national firm. Not the most auspicious beginning, but this single moment in history launched Triad Associates. Three things were clear from the start:
1. What business to be in
2. How to run the company
3. How to treat our people
Number one was easy. Land development was our background, what we knew and what we were good at. That said, our business evolved: from offering discrete technical services to providing comprehensive, land development consulting.
Number two had some early ups and downs. Like a lot of young companies, we experienced a few setbacks. Once corrected and learned from, we zeroed in on one simple belief: using sound business practices and tactics will have a positive impact on our company.
Number three was the easiest of all. Because we wanted Triad to be a great place for talented people to find a life-long career, we created just that. An environment where we care about - and take care of - our employees.
What's next? We'll be true to our conservative past while making the shifts necessary to serve an increasingly demanding land development market.
