Senior Site Designer
Create conceptual site plans for private single- and multi-family developments and mixed-use commercial projects. Requirements include a minimum of 10 years experience and a recognized history of successful communities and development solutions. Excellent communication and organization skills are essential, as is the ability to develop creative design solutions. A degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, or related field is required. AICP or ASLA certification is a plus.
Project Planner
Develop strategies for negotiating project approval and prepare feasibility reports. The position requires a degree in land planning or related field, 10 years experience in land development, a strong understanding of Washington State growth management and environmental policy, and a proven record of team leadership.
Engineering CAD Technician
Draft detailed construction plan sets using AutoCAD 2006, including utility layouts, utility and road profiles, grading, TESC, road sections, and as-builts. Applicants must have completed a drafting certification program and have one or two years experience, know basic math concepts, and have good problem-solving and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn new drafting techniques and processes is critical.
Engineering Designer
Design all elements of construction plan sets including comprehensive design for grading, drainage, road and utility profiles, and TESC. Applicants must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop, have excellent project management and communication skills, and have a minimum five years of design experience.
Entry-Level Civil Engineer
Work with licensed engineers in our apprentice program and gain exposure to all aspects of land development design. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and EIT certification are required.
Project Engineer
Lead teams of design and production staff; coordinate with clients, agency staff, and specialty consultants; and mentor less-experienced staff members. Must be registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington or reciprocal state. A minimum of eight years of experience and technical expertise is required. Ideal candidates much have excellent communication and leadership skills and be an effective problem solver and decision maker.
Project Surveyor
Manage the office and field survey tasks, research and resolve survey problems, assign tasks to survey field crews and review project field work, track project schedules and costs, supervise survey technicians and CAD drafters. Requirements include a minimum of five years of survey knowledge and experience, the ability to communicate effectively, and registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Washington or reciprocal state.
Survey CAD Technician
Perform a variety of work on land development, boundary, cadastral, hydrographic, GPS control, mapping, and route surveys. A minimum of three years of experience using AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop is required. Land development/platting and GPS survey experience is desirable.
Field Survey Crew Member
Work in teams on land development, boundary, cadastral, hydrographic, GPS control, mapping and route surveys. Previous experience is preferred, but we will train those with the right mix of aptitude and desire.
