Field Survey Party Chief

We look for Field Survey Party Chief candidates who have at least five years of experience with - and can demonstrate an understanding of - boundary analysis and theory, error analysis/trapping, mathematics for surveying, and legal description interpretation.  You must also have an established work history of successfully mentoring and leading field survey crew members.

The ideal candidate will have a full range of experience with construction staking, boundary staking, topographic surveys, and ALTA surveys, and a demonstrated work history of field project planning, field safety, and leadership.

All candidates must be able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds of equipment and regularly stand and walk for long periods of time on rough terrain and during inclement weather.

 

On Call Field Survey Crew Members


We seek Field Survey Crew candidates who enjoy a variety of work on a wide array of projects. Typical projects would consist of land development, boundary, cadastral, hydrographic, GPS control, mapping and route surveys.  This position would assist Survey Party Chiefs in the field.

The ideal candidate in this position will have a minimum of two years of experience as a Survey Crew Member, with a concentration in land development/platting and GPS survey experience, along with a demonstrated understanding of basic professional surveying principles and field safety.

All candidates must be able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds of equipment and regularly stand and walk for long periods of time on rough terrain and during inclement weather.

Land Use Planner

We look for candidates with a land use planning background and project management skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in urban planning or related field.
  • AICP certification is desirable.
  • Minimum four years experience in land development, land use entitlement, SEPA compliance.
  • Familiarity with public involvement strategies and land development economics.
  • Additional education/experience in business, law, construction or natural sciences is a plus.
Successful candidates will have a high energy level, keen intellect and solid career goals; they also will enjoy working closely with clients, colleagues and other consultants on challenging and important projects in a collaborative environment.

 

Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Are you a graduate civil or environmental engineer with EIT certification?  Do you have experience working in a design office or in construction management? Have you produced construction drawings using Civil 3D design software, and performed hydrologic modeling using programs such as WWHM3, KCRTS, and StormShed?  Do you have excellent communication and report writing skills?  Are you comfortable spending part of your work week out of doors, coordinating with contractors, performing site investigations, and downstream analyses?  If you can answer yes to these questions, you may be a great fit at Triad Associates.

We seek EIT candidates who:

  • Have excellent AutoCAD skills.
  • Have a minimum of one year of related work experience.
  • Have a desire to further hone their technical and professional skills working on a variety of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Licensed Civil Engineer

Are you a Washington licensed civil engineer with design office or construction management experience and a proven track record of bringing creative solutions to land development challenges? Do you have an established record of successfully working with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary team members? Have you developed and maintained productive working relationships with local jurisdictions? If you can answer yes to these questions, you may be a great fit at Triad Associates.

We seek P.E. (Washington license) candidates who:

  • Possess a minimum of six years experience working on land development, redevelopment, or related projects; a minimum of two years experience leading project design teams to meet project goals set by the Project Manager and client.
  • Combine this experience with superior problem solving skills and innovative thinking to understand and address client goals in the face of current market challenges.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to initiate and develop successful client relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal and external project team members, and jurisdictional staff.
  • Have hands-on experience using Civil 3D design software, and hydrologic modeling programs such as WWHM3, KCRTS, and StormShed.
  • Have a proven record of employing superior technical and orchestrating skills on successful projects.
